Arbaʿīn, marching towards the return of Imam Mahdi
The path toward the return of imam Mahdi is through Karbala. The path of keeping Karbala alive is through Arbaeen. Every year, millions of pilgrims make the journey, marching towards Karbala. The latest estimates put it at 26 million for 2015 and that number has been steadily growing from the last decade, as removal of dictatorship in Iraq paved the way for the Shias to regain authority in the holy land.
Arbaeen is the manifestation of the struggle and resistance against injustice, a struggle where its foundation was set by the 124 thousand prophets and cemented by the 12 Imams. The pinnacle of this struggle was the event of Karbala, where in the most obvious manner, truth and falsehood stood against one another, completing proof upon the people till the judgment day. The very definition of falsehood was demonstrated in Karbala and in opposite, the very essence of Haq. Imam Hussain, through his grand sacrifice demonstrated, regardless of the odds, we must stand against injustice and never surrender, as we are victorious regardless. Imam Hussain(pbuh) had less than 100 followers at that point, against an army of 30,000 of a local tyrant, hell bent on a war against islam of Rasoulallah. Through their martyrdom, Imam Hussain(pbuh) and his followers were victories as their martyrdom awakened the masses, and brought down the rule of the tyrant, paving the way for the resurgence of islam throughout the umma.
Today, tyranny isn’t local anymore, it’s global. The awakening and revolution required to stand against it will need to be global as well. The path of Imam Hussain (pbuh), has set in motion this revolution, which will reach its full potential with the return of Imam Mahdi(pbuh). The islamic revolution in Iran, the resistance in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and Palestine are stepping stones towards this revolution. As millions march towards Karbala, they’re signalling their readiness for Imam Mahdi’s revolution, a revolution that will once and for all remove all of Satans influence, both human and Jinn from our world. Arbaeen fans the flames the struggle against injustice, bringing the masses out of the hypnoses of docility, shaking the foundation of tyrannical rulership throughout the world. The attempt of the corrupt in the world to keep the world asleep, dissipates with the message of Imam Hussain(pbuh). So, let it be known to the tyrants of our world, from the zionists, the imperialists, and the takfiris, and those who seek corruption, that the fire of struggle against injustice has never been extinguished from our hearts, and will burn ever more intensely as we pave the way for the return of our saviour, Imam Mahdi(pbuh).
