Muntakhab al-Athar Fī l-Imām al-Thānī `Ashar is a narrational book in Arabic by Ᾱyat-Allah Luṭfullah Ṣāfi Golpayegāni on the subject of the twelfth Imam. This book is a selection of hadiths from Shia and Sunni books. The book is organized into ten chapters, and the first part is dedicated to proving the existence and imamate of Imam Mahdi. Hadiths related to the life of the twelfth Imam, his deputies, the era of occultation, reappearance, and global government are also included in the following chapters. The author sometimes provides explanations about the hadiths in the footnotes. The original book is in one volume. Of course, it has also been published in three volumes, along with some of the author's articles.
