Among the various prayers recommended during the blessed month of Ramadan, there are some specifically dedicated to Imam Mahdi (PBUH), in which the request for his reappearance is highlighted. Imam Mahdi himself encourages us to pray frequently for his return, and since Ramadan is a month in which prayers are especially accepted, it is highly recommended to recite this prayer every night of the month.
In a message to the Shia, Imam Mahdi said: ‘Recite this prayer every night during Ramadan, for the angels listen to it and ask Allah to forgive the one who recites it.’ (Al-Ṣaḥifa al-Mahdiyah, part 5)
This prayer is rich in profound meanings and offers us valuable insights into the life of Imam Mahdi. It also paints a beautiful vision of the world following his reappearance. Reflecting on its translation while reciting it can greatly enhance our understanding and connection to its message. This prayer can also be found in Mafātīḥ al-Jinān.
