Ziyārat al-Nudbah
«قال أبو علي الحسن بن أشناس: أخبرنا أبو محمد عبد الله بن محمد الدعجلي، عن حمزة بن محمد بن الحسن بن شبيب، عن أحمد بن إبراهيم قال: شكوت إلى أبي جعفر محمد بن عثمان شوقي إلى رؤية مولانا عليه السلام فقال لي: "مع الشوق تشتهي أن تراه؟" فقلت له: نعم، فقال لي: "شكر الله لك شوقك، وأراك وجهه في يسر وعافية، لا تلتمس يا أبا عبد الله أن تراه فان أيام الغيبة يشتاق إليه، ولا يسأل الاجتماع معه، إنه عزائم الله، والتسليم لها أولى ولكن توجه إليه بالزيارة، فأما كيف يعمل وما أملاه عند محمد بن علي فانسخوه من عنده وهو التوجه إلى الصاحب بالزيارة بعد صلاة اثنتي عشرة ركعة تقرأ قل هو الله أحد في جميعها ركعتين ركعتين ثم تصلي على محمد وآله، وتقول قول الله جل اسمه: سلام على آل ياسين، ذلك هو الفضل المبين من عند الله، والله ذو الفضل العظيم، إمامه من يهديه صراطه المستقيم، قد آتاكم الله خلافته يا آل ياسين".»
The author of Mazār Kabīr says: ...Ahmad bin Ibrahim narrated that: "I informed Abu Ja’far Muhammad bin Uthman about my longing to see Imam Mahdi. He asked, “Along with longing for Him do you wish to see him?" I said, "Yes."
He said, "May Allah reward you for this desire and may He show you his face in ease. But don’t request for seeing Him, because it’s the period of occultation and don’t ask to meet him as this is the will of Allah and submitting to it is most appropriate. But you should direct your attention towards Him through His Ziyarat that I have dictated to Muhammad bin Ali and you take it from him. It is a way to turn towards the Imam through His Ziyarat which should be recited after twelve rakats prayers in units of two and in every rakat after Surah Fatiha, recite Surah Ikhlas. After that invoke Durood on Muhammad and Aale Muhammad and then say which Allah has said: "Salamun Alaa Aale Yaseen. This is clear excellence bestowed on Aale Muhammad (ع) and the Almighty Allah is the owner of all blessings. His Imam is one who guides to the straight path. O, Aale Yasin, the Almighty Allah has given His Caliphate to you."
