What is our responsibilities in the context of prayers for the hasty reappearance of Imam Zamana (May Allah hastened his reappearance)?

 Answer:

Prayers are very much effective upon the destiny of a man even though if the destiny had been decided and it is certain. That is why, the prophet’s household have always advised and recommended their friends and the followers to pray for the hasty reappearance of Imam Zamana, al-Mahdi. As the reappearance of the Imam Zamana is a public matter hence if all the followers of the Prophet’s Household it will show its effect on his reappearance.

As Imam Sadiq (AS) have said:

«وهکذا انتم لو دعوتم لفرّج الله عنّا»

If all of you shall pray like this the time of the reappearance and the time of our dominance will arrive soon.

We should also consider this fact as well that in addition to the prayer for the hasty reappearance of Imam Zamana (may our life be sacrificed on him) is waiting for him, which is one of the necessities of the payers for his hasty reappearance in the same way as Imam Jawad (AS) have mentioned about it:

إنّ القائم منّا هو المهديّ الّذي يجب أن ينتظر في غيبته ويطاع في ظهوره.   (Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 51, p. 156)

The Qaem of us is Mahdi (ATFS), for whom it is obligatory upon you to wait for his reappearance and at the time of his reappearance you should follow him.

Those who have perceived the anticipation of Imam Zamana, it is obligatory upon them not to neglect the prayer for his reappearance. Thus, till the time of the occultation continues, his anticipation will also continue and till the anticipation is there the prayers for the hasty reappearance of Imam Zamana (may our life be sacrificed on him) will continue with the submission to the Allah’s will.

Considering the fact mentioned, we should request from Allah to haste the reappearance of Imam Zamana (may our life be sacrificed on him) and that Allah should quickly end this period of occultation. However, we should keep distance from all kind of haste and hurriedness, ifs and buts so that we should not be counted amongst the «وهلک المستعجلون»  (those who awaits will be destroyed).
